About SRS

Though this homepage was formally established sometime in August 1998, the name Sailormoon and the Roving Sailorettes and its acronym SRS were established on May 17, 1995. The acronym was a combination of Sailormoon R and Sailormoon S. What the acronym meant came later. First S is understood as Sailormoon. The R would stand for roving becasue they're always on the move. The other S posed a problem. The suffix -ess was used to make the mouthful Sailoresses until settling to the term Sailorettes with the suffix -ette. Both of those terms meant "Female Sailors."
The SRS names of the senshi came from the fact that the Filipino series first called Usagi "Bunny." This lead to the development of the other names of the senshi.

**This author never knew that Sailorsaturn exists until about 1996.
The term Sailorettes applies to the inner senshi and Sailorsaturn (the planet she represents was part of the Solar System since ancient times), while the term Sailorstars, supposedly applied to the Three Lights, is applied to the remaining outer senshi (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto were discovered later). These two terms served a double purpose. They serve as group name tags, and also to keep out the confusion between the senshi and the planets they represent as far as the question, "Why does Sailorjupiter part of the inners while the planet she represents is part of the Outer Planets?" is concerned.
You must know that all of the contents of this homepage was based entirely on the Filipino version, not the American version.

The Story So Far

(As far as the Filipino version is concerned) Contains spoilers!
The original series tackles Bunny (Usagi) as Sailormoon, her quest against the Negaverse empire, the revelation of her true identity as Princess Serenity, and the disintegration of Queen Berryl.
The first part of Sailormoon R features Gail (or Alan on the DIC version) and Ann and their quest to get more energy for their mother tree. This also tackles Bunny (Usagi) and whole pack's attempts to let Mamuro's (Mamoru) memory of Bunny (Usagi) back to him. The second part introduces CB (Chibiusa) as a little kid, her role as a fugitive from the Dark Moon Empire, her attempts to save her mother, Neo Queen Serenity, the empire's usage of her by transforming her into the Black Lady, and the pack's rescue to her. These series also features the early introduction of Sailorpluto as a guardian of time and space.
The first 38 episodes of Sailormoon S featured the inroduction of Meggan (Haruka) and Kirei (Michiru) and their alter egos Sailoruranus and Sailorneptune, the return of CB (Chibiusa) as Sailorchibimoon, and the introduction of Super Sailormoon. This tackles the daemons of Prof. Tomoe, his usage of his daughter Hotaru to ressurect the Messiah of Destruction, CB's (Chibiusa) being used, and the Sailorsaturn and Sailormoon's help to stop the suppossed Armageddon created by the Messiah of Destruction. The remaining episodes, which feature the human forms of the Magical Cats, were skipped.
Sailormoon SuperS tackles Pegasus, which according here appears in good dreams, was being helped by the Sailors to stop the Dark Moon Circus from capturing him. First, the Amazon Trio did that task to find Pegasus per se in anybody's dream. After some unexpected internal feuds, the Amazon Trio turned to their original forms, and the Amazones Quartet, a group which believed dreams are only for children, took over finding the person which has the Golden Mirror in his heart. More mysteries abound as CB (Chibiusa) began to have a crush on Pegasus, who was really a prince named Helios. This ended in the revelation of the Golden Mirror, the final battle, and the introduction of a certain Queen Nehelenia.
The first 10 (or so) episodes of Sailormoon Sailorstars picked up from where Sailormoon SuperS left off: Queen Nehelenia. Being locked in a mirror, she put every single woman using a mirror, as well as Mamuro (Mamoru), under her control, causing a domino effect on Bunny (Usagi), CB (Chibiusa), and everybody else in the pack. Usagi was determined to rescue her prince, and the others were determined to follow, but not when the Queen played mind games on the pack. But with the determination of Bunny (Usagi) not only strengthened her new "Eternal" power, the determination of the others, and the revelation of the Queen's ironically happy and humble past, she and others manage to free Mamoru from the spell and sent the Queen back to that past as if everything was a dream.
The succeeding episodes of Sailormoon Sailorstars puts Mamuro (Mamuro) out of the country, and CB (Chibiusa) out of this century, leaving Bunny (Usagi) coping with her loneliness. This series introduced "Three Lights," an androgynous "boyband" whose real purpose was to be the the "female" finders of objects called "Star Seeds." They are composed of Taiki, Yaten, and Seiya Koh, all unrelated to each other. They are also the alter egos of Sailor Starmaker, Sailor Starhealer, and Sailor Starfighter respectively. (The reason why I earlier said androgynous because they act, feel, and are male, but they looks are female, and so are their alter egos.) Their idol facade (as it later turned out) was has a purpose: to find their mentor named Princess Fireball, whom they are searching from their home galaxy.
This also gives the sudden appearance of Qiqi (Chibi-Chibi) who said nothing but "chibi" (probably the only word in her vocabulary), and masqueraded as Usagi's (Bunny's) "youngest sister."
Later, the Sailorettes discover a so-called Sailor Wars, they not only fight an evil force led by a Sailor Warrior possessed by an evil mind, but also Sailoruranus and Sailorneptune in their own game. Sailormoon's loss would also spell the destruction of Earth. Qiqi's purpose as the aptly called "hope of the world" is where it comes in.
